Whole-Home & Partial Repiping

Overview
What to expect
When pipes start to fail, no single repair fixes the underlying problem. Recurring pinhole leaks, rusty or discolored water, low pressure across the house, and aging galvanized or polybutylene piping are all signs your plumbing is reaching the end of its life. MainLine Plumbing replaces it with modern, long-lasting PEX or copper, designed and installed to last for decades.
A repipe sounds daunting, but our licensed crews have it down to a clean, organized process. We protect your floors and belongings, open the smallest access points needed, install and pressure-test the new lines to code, and pull the proper permits. Most whole-home repipes are completed in just a few days, and we handle the drywall patching and cleanup so you're not left with a mess.
Whether you need a full repipe or just one failing branch replaced, we'll give you a clear written scope and a flat-rate price during a free in-home estimate, with financing available so a big upgrade fits your budget. The result: clean water, steady pressure, and an end to the leak-of-the-month cycle.

FAQ
Repiping questions, answered
How long does a whole-home repipe take?
Most homes are repiped in two to four days depending on size, number of bathrooms, and access. We give you a realistic timeline during the free estimate and work efficiently to minimize the disruption.
PEX or copper, which should I choose?
Both are excellent. PEX is flexible, fast to install, resists corrosion, and usually costs less; copper is rigid, time-tested, and preferred by some homeowners. We'll explain the trade-offs and recommend the best fit for your home and budget.
What are the signs I need to repipe?
Rusty or discolored water, repeated pinhole leaks, low water pressure throughout the house, and older galvanized or polybutylene piping are the big ones. If you're patching leaks every few months, a repipe is usually cheaper in the long run.
Will you patch the walls afterward?
Yes. We open the smallest access points necessary and include drywall patching and cleanup so your home is put back together, not left full of holes for you to deal with.

Real Reviews
Trusted by Columbus Homeowners
Woke up to water pouring through the kitchen ceiling at 2am. MainLine had a plumber out within the hour, found the failed supply line, and stopped the damage fast. Lifesavers, and the price was exactly what they quoted.

Our water heater died right before a houseful of guests. They installed a new one the same day, walked me through the warranty, and left the garage cleaner than they found it. Couldn't ask for more.

Got three quotes to repipe our old house. MainLine was the most transparent about the scope and the only one who gave me a flat price in writing. Two years later, not a single issue.
